Hello and welcome to our blog! We just recently redesigned our website, and we have decided to start blogging. For our first blog post, we want to introduce ourselves and talk about what we do. Wag Ur Tail Dog Training is a dog training business that serves the City of Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, Stafford, and the rest of the surrounding counties. Mike Morrison provides a variety of dog training services that will help strengthen the bond between you and your pet. Our services include private dog training lessons, board and train and behavioral consulting.
Private Lessons: We can provide private lessons to your dog so we can focus specifically on your dog’s behavioral problems. We do not use a “one size fits all” approach. All dogs are different and have different needs. We can also show owner(s) how to train with their dog and get the same results we get. Your trainer will schedule one-hour sessions with you and your dog and give you “homework” to train your dog throughout the week.
Board and Train: This is a two-week program that involves daily one-on-one training. Your dog will live with the trainer and their family for two weeks and will learn new things at every turn This training is usually needed for puppies or dogs with longstanding problems. Your dog will also be the only dog receiving this service during the two weeks. We do not train two dogs at once (unless they are both yours).
Behavioral Consulting: Your trainer will assess your dog’s lifestyle as well as the interactions between you and your dog. By doing this, they can create a bond with your dog and teach him/her new behaviors to replace destructive ones such as barking, biting, digging, and so much more.
